About Shreyali
Hello future dancers, I'm Shreya, and I am incredibly passionate about dance. Dancing has been a significant part of my life for as long as I can remember. From the moment I took my first dance class, I knew that this was my calling. Teaching dance is more than just a job for me; it's a passion and a privilege. I want to inspire and empower my students to discover the magic of movement, express themselves authentically, and unlock their full artistic potential. Dance is a universal language that transcends barriers and connects us on a deeper level. Through dance, we can communicate, celebrate, heal, and create lasting memories together. My journey in dance has been both fulfilling and transformative, shaping not only my physical abilities but also my creativity, discipline, and resilience. I have experienced firsthand the joy, confidence, and sense of accomplishment that dance brings, and I am eager to share these gifts with each of you. My goal as your dance instructor is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where you can thrive, grow, and shine. I am a trained Indian classical Kathak and hip-hop freestyle dancer. In an hour of session, my approach to teaching dance is rooted in a comprehensive blend of traditional and contemporary techniques. I believe in providing a well-rounded learning experience that encompasses technical training, artistic expression, and performance skills. During my classes, I break down intricate movements into digestible steps, focusing on proper body alignment, movement quality, musicality, and emotional expression. Additionally, I incorporate interactive exercises, choreography drills, improvisation sessions, and dance games to make learning engaging, fun, and dynamic. Feedback is an integral part of my teaching methodology, as I believe constructive criticism and positive reinforcement are essential for growth and improvement. My dance lessons cater to individuals of all ages (children, teens, adults, seniors) and levels (beginners, intermediate, advanced).
