About Ashleigh
I am Ashleigh Doherty, a determined individual currently studying a Bachelor of Medical and Health Sciences as both a Dean’s Scholar and Honours student. Currently with a high distinction weighted average mark. During my time studying I have been immersed in many experiences including research projects, lab facilitating and mentoring. Each experience further developing my interpersonal and intrapersonal attributes including; verbal and written communication, compassion, attention to detail and patience. These skills are complemented with my intrinsic motivation and constant determination which I project onto those around me. As well as having the capacity to adapt, take guidance and learn quickly.

I aim to create a safe and encouraging environment that allows students to feel comfortable to ask questions and build their confidence in their study ability. I initially consult with the student to identify their strengths and weaknesses to formulate a plan that sets a large goal with smaller goals for each session, where each session is filled with discussion and practice questions to achieve goals.
