About Thinama

I'm Thinama from a small town in Eastern Cape. I spent my high school years being nurtured and guided by the excellent staff of Queenstown Girls' High school. I started my independent tutoring as a means of helping my friends who weren't from schools such as mine. I used the knowledge I acquired to help others and over time I wanted to expand it but I couldn't because of all my extra curricular activities. Now that I am at university I have more free time on hand and I am super eager to share my learning style as I believe it works wonders. I used to go by all these styles that worked for others but they never worked for me because I had a short attention span and would find it hard to concentrate in class which led to me always feeling left behind. So given any chance to help others I am eager because I understand that students are all different and I believe my teaching caters to all especially those who think they are slow learners just because how they do things isn't working right now.

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Thinama Qasana and I am passionate about teaching students like you to achieve their academic goals. I strive off of academic validation and if this has taught me anything I'd say it taught me patience. I understand every student learns at a unique pace and my teaching style caters to every student out there. I have a bubbly personality which I believe helps in ensuring students feel free and relaxed in my presence so that they can ask questions without feeling embarrassed because a large part of learning involves asking questions to enhance understanding.
