About Cecilia
I taught Spanish to business foreign students in my hometown in Peru, then had high school, college and university students in the United States. Taught broadly in Decorah High School, Luther College and University of Wisconsin-Madison for about 10 years.

My teaching methodology is understanding the needs of my students firstly, then approach the weak areas using different activities. I like my students to feel comfortable but challenged at the same time.
I also love to teach culture alongside the grammar, because I believe when you learn a language you need to understand the culture to be more accurate and sound more natural when you speak.
