About Nishant
I am a Physics graduate from the University of Waterloo with a strong background in mathematics, problem solving, and analytical thinking. Over the past few years, I have worked with students at both the high school and university level, helping them build confidence in subjects that often feel challenging at first.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I take a patient and supportive approach to teaching. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore ideas without fear of making mistakes.
Through clear explanations and structured practice, I help students strengthen their understanding of math and physics while developing the skills needed to approach problems independently. I am committed to helping students improve their academic performance and gain confidence in their abilities.

I focus on helping students truly understand mathematics and physics rather than memorizing formulas. My teaching style emphasizes intuition, step-by-step problem solving, and building strong conceptual foundations so students can approach new problems with confidence.
A typical lesson begins with identifying where the student is struggling. We review the core concept, work through examples together, and then practice similar problems until the idea becomes clear. I encourage students to ask questions and think through problems actively rather than simply watching solutions.
I hold a degree in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and have experience tutoring both university and high school students. My lessons are ideal for high school students studying algebra, functions, calculus, and physics, as well as university students who want to strengthen their understanding of fundamental concepts.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to help them develop confidence and independent problem-solving skills.
