About Deacon
I have an honors degree in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Waterloo, and I have a passion for solving mathematical problems. I'm not very strict, but I take tutoring very seriously and like to make sure the student understands what is going on before moving on to another topic. I understand that there are many learning styles and aim to accommodate to all.

The lessons are for anyone below first year in university, I can tutor math and physics. I like to tutor by working through problems together, asking the student many questions along the way about how they think they should approach the problem. The typical lesson plan would be a brief explanation of the topic with examples, a Q&A session about what the student doesn't understand, and a worksheet with practice problems. The thing that sets me apart as a tutor is that I genuinely care about my students and their success, and I want to ensure that they understand the concepts and feel confident in solving problems.
