About Joel

Hi there! I'm here to help you feel confident and excited about learning French or Spanish. With a degree in both languages from the University of Warwick and over 3 years of tutoring experience, I’ve worked with students at all levels, and I know how to make language learning approachable and effective.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is student-centered, tailored to each individual’s goals and learning style. I believe language learning should be both structured and engaging, so I use a mix of conversational practice, interactive exercises, and traditional methods to build a strong foundation in vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension.

Teaching Methodology and Techniques:
I focus on practical, immersive learning to help students gain confidence in real-world communication. For each lesson, I begin with a brief review of previous material, then introduce new topics or concepts through relatable scenarios, role-plays, and dialogue practice. I make use of visual aids, audio resources, and writing exercises to engage different aspects of learning. I hold a degree in French and Spanish from the University of Warwick, and I have over 3 years of tutoring experience, helping students achieve high grades in GCSE and A-level exams.
