About Shegufta
Each individual student deserves an education that is able to be adjusted as their understanding develops. In a large classroom setting, this simply is not possible as students are hurried through a pace of information that may be too slow, too fast, or too confusing for them. I am here to walk you through the material as a whole person instead of pushing you along an assembly-line style of education. As a result of the personalized attention given to each student's needs, students have always come away from my lessons with a greater understanding of the material than at the beginning.

I am able to tailor lesson plans and sessions to individual student needs. I have the ability to re-word and re-conceptualize key learning points in new and creative ways to facilitate understanding complex ideas.
Due to the combination of my educational background and my interests, I have a great deal of general knowledge within the field of biology (even outside of my speciality of medicine). Wherever you are starting from, we can get to the finish line together!

Perfect! I have been out of school for many years, and I haven't taken any science courses for an even longer period. Shegufta has been able to explain microbiology to me in a way that I can understand, which I know isn't an easy task. Thank you so much for your knowledge and patience.
