About Jaskeerat
Hi! My name is Jaskeerat and I'm a science student at the University of Toronto with a strong background in biology, chemistry, and math.
As a student myself, I know how much of a difference it can make when difficult concepts are explained in a clear and simple way. I've taken a wide range of university-level science courses, and I enjoy helping others understand topics that may seem confusing or overwhelming at first.
I'm patient, approachable, and always happy to go over something more than once or explain it in a different way. My goal is to make students feel comfortable asking questions and help them build both their understanding and confidence in the subject.
Whether you need help keeping up with class, preparing for a test or exam, or just want some extra support with a difficult topic, I'm happy to work at your pace and focus on what you need most.

As a University of Toronto science student, I understand how frustrating it can be when a concept just doesn't make sense at first. My approach is to break difficult topics down into simpler steps and explain them in different ways until they become easier to understand.
A typical lesson will depend on what the student needs help with. We can review concepts from class, go through homework or practice questions together, prepare for upcoming tests and exams, or focus on areas the student is struggling with. I like to work through problems step-by-step and make sure the student understands why they are doing each step rather than simply memorizing an answer.
I aim to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions without feeling judged or rushed. Since I'm currently a university student myself, I can also share study techniques and approaches that have helped me succeed in science and math courses.
My lessons are mainly for high school students in Grades 9–12 looking for help with biology, chemistry, math, or general science.
