About Anya

Hi! My name is Anya and I am an artist, photographer and educator based in London, UK.
For the past 4 years I have been teaching digital and analogue photography at University of The Arts London, London College of Communications.

Central Saint Martins Graduate and Jane Rapley Scholar I have a distinction in MA Contemporary Photography Practices and Philosophies in addition to BA in Commercial Photography at University of The Arts London and a graduate diploma in Photography in the New Media from British Higher School of Education.

I did a workshop on advanced colour darkroom hand printing with Anya. I studied photography in college but never got to spend enough time in the darkrooms. I learned how to use the “pre-flash” and how to print multiple images on one sheet of paper and much more. Anya is extremely knowledgable and patient and I came out of the workshop feeling inspired and had a great time. On top of that the location is great and very central which I find rare because this type of workshops are usually very far and hard to get to. Absolute gem. Excited come back for more workshops in the future!
