About Simardeep
Hi everyone! My name is Simar(Sim-R) and I am passionate about helping students develop strong English skills in a supportive and encouraging environment! I understand that every learner progresses at their own pace which is why I focus on creating lessons that are clear, engaging, and tailored to everyone’s goals.
As a university student with excellent written and spoken English skills, I value preparation, patience, and open communication. I explain concepts thoroughly, answer questions thoughtfully, and ensure students can openly share any confusion/concerns and learn from them. Whether we’re working on grammar, essay writing, reading, vocabulary, or conversational English, my goal is to help students build both competence and self-assurance in their skill.
I approach every lesson with professionalism and reliability, arriving prepared with structured activities and adapting them into manageable tasks. I believe that learning is most effective when students feel supported and I strive to create a positive space where we can celebrate their improvements. I’ve had experience working with children at a daycare for 2 years and have also peer tutored for a year in high school for Math and Science.

Hi! My name is Simar and I offer personalized online English lessons focused on helping students become more confident readers, writers and speakers.
My teaching style is structured but flexible. I like to understand each student’s current level, strengths and goals so I can tailor lessons specifically to their needs. Whether you’re struggling with grammar, essay writing, vocabulary, reading comprehension, pronunciation or conversational English, I break concepts down into simple steps.
A typical 60-minute lesson might include:
-A 5–10 minute review of previous material and any questions.
-A focused lesson on one topic, such as verb tenses, punctuation, sentence structure, vocabulary or pronunciation.
-Guided practice through exercises, reading or conversation.
-Real-time feedback and corrections with explanations.
-A short summary and optional practice activities to reinforce learning between sessions.
For students working on writing, I provide detailed feedback on essays and assignments, explaining what should be corrected and how the change improves clarity or grammar. For ESL learners, I use practical communication skills and natural-sounding English through conversation and repetition.
What sets me apart is my encouraging approach and my belief that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions. I adapt the pace to ensure genuine understanding and steady realistic improvement.
