About Georgie
I am an 20 year old History student currently studying BA History at Royal Holloway, University of London. Royal Holloway is a highly regarded university, with a fantastic history department, meaning it is a privilege to study there. As my degree is in History, this is my main passion! I adore teaching others all about many different aspects of History, along with branch subjects like Law, Politics and Sociology. You can see my passion for history through the way I tutor - I am very confident in my words and try my absolute best to make the most boring of topics seem interesting in order to help students retain the information easier.
Historical periods I can teach:

The above topics are ones that I am most confident with, however I have an extremely wide knowledge of history in general, meaning that if there are any topics that you would like me to teach that are not listed above, simply let me know and I will let you know if I can teach it confidently.

The way I tutor will solely depend on the type of student I am tutoring. I understand that students have different learning styles, some visual, some aural, some verbal and some physical. It should only take one session for me to figure out the type of style that suits the student best if they don't already know, and from that point onwards I will devise a learning strategy that will be individualised and suited to that specific student. I try to make learning fun while keeping a sense of discipline and making sure targets are being reached.
