About Cerys
Hello everyone! My name is Cerys, and I love helping people climb the mountains of academics, understanding, and self-confidence. I've always had a love for learning, and I love sharing that with other people, and helping them see the beauty of learning for themselves. I'm patient, and willing to work with lots of different kinds of people, and willing to try lots of different kinds of teaching in order to find the one that makes you feel confident in your abilities and ready to tackle your classes with renewed understanding.

My aim as a tutor is to make sure students walk away with comprehensive confidence in their chosen subject. If you're confused about something, there is absolutely no shame or embarrassment in bringing it up or asking questions, that's how we get better! In high school I consistently scored excellences in biology assignments and exams, or merits that were quite close to excellences. I've never worked as a tutor before outside of helping my neighbors in class, but I have a passion for teaching and am very patient and thorough when explaining things. Typical lengths of lessons will be about an hour, though can be flexible depending on the circumstances. I am comfortable teaching up to NCEA level 3, and anyone who's below that level.
