About Tayla

Hi! My name is Tayla and I am currently studying at University. I have achieved Excellence endorsed in Levels 1, 2 & 3. I have had a passion for science since starting the subject in Year 9. I love to exercise, be outdoors, and spend time with my friends and family. Balancing school and other life activities while still achieving to the best of my ability is very important to me, and I hope to provide help and support for you to achieve the same!

About the lesson

In each lesson, we will dive into key concepts, strengthening understanding that can be applied to any question that arises. We are able to go through practice questions, and attack any challenges that arise, providing support which will build confidence. We are also able to unpack specific difficulties or questions that one may have.
I find that having an approachable and supportive tutor makes a significant impact in results and confidence, which I aim to provide in these lessons.
I have been tutoring Year 9s and 10s in Science through school, and have helped friends and family members through the subject, all of which have seen results.
I am able to tutor Year 9s, 10s, and NCEA levels 1 & 2 for general science, biology, chemistry and physics.
Each lesson is typically 1 hour in length, but can be adjusted to suit individual needs and goals.
