About Wilfred
I’m a first-year PPE student at the University of Manchester, having achieved a First Class result in my first year. I’m from Bath, where I completed my A-Levels, and I’ve built up experience across a range of environments — from hospitality to political outreach — that’s taught me how to explain things clearly and adapt to different people. I love teaching because I still remember exactly what worked for me at GCSE and A-Level, and I get real satisfaction from watching a student go from struggling with a topic to genuinely understanding it.

Each lesson is built around three things: solid subject knowledge, exam technique, and practice under exam conditions.
I start by identifying gaps in understanding — not just “what topics haven’t you covered” but where marks are actually being lost. From there, we work through content clearly and methodically, then apply it directly to past paper questions. I walk through model answers step by step, showing exactly how top-band responses are structured, so you can replicate that approach independently.
Lessons are tailored to you: if you’re aiming to close a gap, we focus on the fundamentals that unlock the most marks. If you’re already strong and pushing for a top grade, we focus on the finer technique that separates a 7 from a 9, or a B from an A*.
Every session ends with clear next steps, so you always know what to work on before we meet again.
