About Sanaya
I am currently studying Data Science at UCL. I chose this course as I am passionate about mathematics, and therefore keen to teach younger students to love this subject in the same way I do. My love for mathematics always stemmed from having a definitive answer unlike other subjects. I worked hard in this subject at school, achieving a grade 9 at GCSE and a grade 7 at IB (the highest grades possible). I have experience in tutoring young children at my own school during “math mentor” sessions and I intend to continue supporting students even though I have left school.

Approach to learning is identifying weak topics and repeatedly going through practice questions to strengthen these areas. Explaining efficient methods to solving problems will also be an area of focus, as well as identifying misconceptions or common mistakes to ensure my students excel.
