About Marion
I am a Canadian university student and preschool teacher who is passionate about reading and writing. Throughout my high school and university career, I have continually shown success in reading and writing-based assignments (academically and creatively), with a strong eye when editing my peers' work. By day I work as a preschool teacher, where I've developed a passion for engaging others in the world of literature, mainly through storytelling and related activities. Due to this, I am confident and comfortable explaining topics to almost anyone and have acquired a lot of patience. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

I am a big believer that students need to be engaged with materials in order to truly absorb them. As an educator and student myself, I have used an emergent curriculum to aid students in understanding what often feels like far-away or abstract topics, so that they "come to life" in a real and meaningful way. As a preschool teacher, my creativity and versatility in teaching diverse students allows me to diversify lessons as needed, and come up with "on the fly" activities and explanations if needed. I would prefer to work with students in high school through to college or undergraduate university level.
