About Abigail
I am a current student at the University of Southampton studying both French and Spanish as a joint honours! I am currently on my year abroad living and studying both languages in Barcelona at degree level, looking to increase my experience of teaching, and help support secondary school students. Having sat my A-Levels only three years ago, I understand the secondary school system as well as the mark schemes and expected levels of vocabulary and grammar knowledge, but am available to teach at a lower level in addition. After my degree, I am planning to train as a teacher and work as a secondary school teacher of Spanish and French.

I offer lessons and speaking practice sessions at Key Stage Three, GCSE and A-Level French! That means between the ages of 11 and 18. As I am a student, I have recent experience of Secondary school, and of these qualifications. I have a high level of grammatical and vocabulary knowledge, that has only increased and developed during my time at University. My classes are typically an hour long, but can vary - depending on the lesson type and level of the pupil. An hour for typical lessons, but for A-Level and GCSE speaking exam practice, I would usually run a class time of around 30 minutes due to the highly focused nature of the task.
