About Kimberley
During my time in school, I participated in the Chemistry Olympiad(bronze), Intermediate Biology Olympiad(highly commended), Cambridge Chemistry Challenge(gold), and the Senior Maths Challenge(bronze), improving my ability to face challenges and unexpected problems. Apart from academics, I also kept up with my hobby of playing the violin. I have been playing for 4 years and is also involved in the school orchestra which allowed me to work with the rest of the band, improving my confidence in teamwork. Music also improves my ability to counter stress. During my spare time, I always like to practice some difficult pieces, allowing me to stay focused. By doing this, it benefits me by improving my resilience and patience, which ensures that I practice repeatedly on that piece of music until I overcome the difficulties, asking others for support if I need to.
