About Anna
Hello, My name is Anna! I live in Canada for 5 years already and had to learn English from level 0 to being fluent in one sight since I was 12. Therefore I understand the struggle people face when coming into and unknown country without fully mastering the language. I want to help people with English, making it fun and not exhausting to learn. I have experience tutoring because I volunteered at an elementary school and helped kids with their work. I also have been tutoring younger kids in high school as a part of my volunteering work. Finally I regularly help my siblings and neighbourhood students with their work. I'm am a kind a supportive person who loves talking and helping people. Therefore having all this experience and communication skills, I want to help people, and will be waiting in excitement for our class!

I am a strong believer that you can learn English faster if you just start speaking and operating in English environment. It doesn't matter how right or wrong you are and how many mistakes you make. I encourage making mistakes and learning from them as it build up in experience that will guide you on your journey! Typically I would give classes to middle school kids, high school, adults and older people. A typical lesson plan will be based on what a student needs help with. Preferably a day prior to the class a student will be free to update me on what they want a class to be focused on + any additional materials. During the class I will make sure to answer any questions a student has as well as provide any help required. I can pretty much any type of class a student requires, including analysis of vocabulary in the movies and videos. I am a young enthusiastic student who loves talking to people and sharing my knowledge. I am extremely social and can connect with almost anyone. At the same time I can be calm and focused! With my classes I would like to help integrate people into English environment, help people enjoy learning one of the most widespread and standardized languages in the world, as well as help people who are planning to move/come into an English spoken country to learn basics and conversational English. My first languages include Ukrainian and Russian so I can provide Russian and Ukrainian speaking people with help in English. My math classes will have the same structure, student sends me topics that he needs help with, or questions about math, and then I help! Overall I am happy to help with pretty much anything haha!
