About Bevan

I am a first-year university student at Curtin University studying a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honors), majoring in Molecular Genetics. I graduated with an ATAR of 95.95 and was awarded a Certificate of Distinction from SCSA. I offer tutoring in Year 11 and 12 ATAR Biology, Human Biology, and Chemistry, as well as General Science for lower school students. Having recently completed the WACE curriculum, I understand exam expectations and effective study strategies. My love for tutoring came from high school where I would help uplift my peers, and nothing beats the feeling of seeing someone you helped succeed. As your tutor, that is what I will be striving for.

About the lesson

Every lesson I teach will be different. And that's because every student is different and my job as a tutor is to change how I teach to what best suits my students. As your tutor I will go out of my way to communicate clearly with you on how you learn best and how you can get the most out of our session together. A common lesson will start with an introduction then move to course content, where I will share my personal tricks to make learning just that little bit easier, then in every lesson I will try to finish with some practice questions to make sure you have absorbed all the information.
