About Sultan

I’m a third-year university student specialising in German and Italian, with first-hand experience living and studying in Germany. I’ve successfully tutored GCSE, A-Level, and adult learners, helping them achieve top grades and gain real confidence in speaking and writing. My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to your goals—whether that’s exam success, conversational fluency, or academic improvement. About the lesson

As a languages student currently completing my degree in German and Italian, I bring both academic rigour and real-world fluency to my German tutoring. I aim to create a supportive, engaging environment where students feel confident to explore, ask questions, and push themselves towards genuine fluency. Teaching Methodology My approach is flexible and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on: Communicative learning – speaking and listening in real-life scenarios Grammar in context – rather than dry rules, we build an intuitive feel for structure Cultural immersion – bringing in film, music, and news to make language learning feel authentic and relevant Confidence-building – especially for speaking and oral exam prep I use a mix of interactive exercises, past paper questions (for exam students), and guided conversation to help students actively use what they’ve learned. I'm happy to tutor in German or English depending on comfort level. Lesson Length Typically, lessons are 60 minutes, but I’m happy to adjust or offer more intensive sessions depending on your goals. Qualifications & Experience Third-year undergraduate studying German Completed a year abroad in Berlin, gaining fluency and deep cultural insight. Experience tutoring GCSE, A-Level and adult learners in both structured academic and conversational German. Strong track record of helping students excel in exams and build practical confidence.
