About Mathis
Alongside my A levels, I have worked at a British International school in Oman as a gap student and teaching assistant. I am eager to pass on my love for these subjects to students! I have attended international schools and have experience transitioning to A levels from other qualifications for example IB. I have experience with passing both entrance exams and English proficiency tests such as IELTS and TOEFL.

Offering online tutoring for GCSE and A level Geography and Classical Civilisation. A Level Geography (A* Grade), A Level Classical Civilisation (A Grade) and CTech ICT (Distinction*). Completed TOEFL (English proficiency test for University) with a score of 117/120. Currently studying International Relations as an undergraduate at Anglo-American University Prague. I emphasise facilitating students' ability to analyse and respond to a question on their own, so that they can succeed independently. I want to give them the confidence to be able to complete the problems and not always be looking for me to give them the answer. I want to make sure they understand the fundamentals of whatever subject or topic they are approaching, then prompt them to implement this knowledge themselves. I aim to identify the strengths of the students and tailor the teaching to those strengths. For A level lessons I tie in exam questions and tips for students along with content. Using my own A level experience, I can prepare students for sitting exams. Lessons for any age up to A Level.
