About Nikita
I'm an 18 year old university student living in Southampton. I achieved A* in mathematics and an A in further mathematics. I got into my first choice of Masters of Electronics engineering at the University of Southampton. I used to hate maths when I was in secondary school, until my mum got me a tutor and my tutor made me understand concepts that previously found impossible and maths suddenly became my favourite topic. I know what it feels like to hate maths, therefore having a good tutor who has the passion to change that is exactly who I am!

I can supply tuition in practically any subject in mathematics up to a university level. Some of the topics I can teach:
Proof, Algebra and functions, Coordinate geometry in the (x,y) plane, Sequences and series, Trigonometry, Exponentials and logarithms, Differentiation, Integration, Numerical methods, Vectors, Statistical sampling, Data presentation and interpretation, Probability, Statistical distributions, Statistical hypothesis testing, Quantities and units in mechanics, Kinematics, Forces and Newton’s laws, Moments etc.
I have experience with working of all age groups. I helped three 15 year old pupils who lived in Moscow with maths via zoom during lockdown. I also helped 2 of my close friends jump their grades from a 4 (C) to a 7(A) with 4 weeks of help. I have a very relaxed and friendly method of teaching. I focus on the areas of weakness and make the students feel more comfortable by using analogies and easy to understand diagrams to explain complex ideas in maths!
