About Rachel
My name is Rachel Breau, and I am a 23-year-old Pisces who writes best when sitting in bed beside her cat. I am a huge movie buff, and my favorite movie would be either Pride and Prejudice (2005) or Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014). A book series I recommend to everyone is The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken. I love editing in my free time. I care deeply about human rights, the environment, and animal rights--in no particular order.

If you choose to work with me as your tutor, I will first have an intake meeting with you to understand what you want out of our sessions. A typical lesson plan will highlight one particular area of struggle in reading/writing, bringing in examples from both classic and modern sources to express how to identify certain rules or common mistakes.
Depending on the age, we may focus more on correct grammatical usage or syntactical flow in writing. We may also develop stronger reading habits. If you are younger, say between 8-14, we may work more on technical accuracy in writing and reading comprehension skills. If you are older, you may be more interested in essay help, so we may spend most of the lesson polishing a piece of writing. I want to help you reach your reading and writing goals so that you may express yourself more clearly and succeed in future endeavors.
