About Vishnu
I’m currently a third-year Psychology Honors student, so I’m not teaching from memory of old coursework — I’m working through the same concepts, theories, and exam patterns right now, which keeps my teaching current and exam-relevant. Alongside my coursework, I maintain my own structured notes and knowledge system for the subject, which is part of why I care about teaching concepts in a connected, organized way rather than as isolated facts to memorize.

A typical class starts with a quick recap of what we covered last time, so nothing carries forward as a gap. Then we move into the new concept, broken into smaller, clear parts rather than one long explanation — I find this makes definitions and theories easier to actually retain, not just hear. Once the concept is covered, we go through a few practice questions or a short exercise together, so you’re applying the idea, not just reading about it. If it’s exam-focused, I’ll also point out how the topic tends to be asked and graded, so you know how to structure your answer, not just what to say. Each class ends with a quick summary of what we covered and what to look at before the next session.
