About Ruth
I have a Phd and postdoctoral studies at Harvard University, I have been teaching and tutoring for over 35 years. My credentials include studies in and university teaching in psychology, English, and history. As a private tutor I've assisted students with coursework, general and AP, both ACT and SAT prep, as well as college admissions essays.

My teaching methods are interactive, inquiry and analytical with focus on each student's learning style and level of skill and inquiry. I have tutored a wide variety of students including those with learning challenges as well as those students with exceptional abilities. My lessons include a wide variety of media with special emphasis on skill development.
