About Merriam
University of Pretoria BSc Chemistry graduate.
In my first year I had a chance to tutor grade 10 and 12 learners and that has spiked a passion for tutoring learners.
I'm patient with learners as I understand how it is to be in their shoes.
I am focused and independent, quite responsible with belief that when one puts in work, results become brighter and better.
I am energetic and bubbly so lessons with me are educative, engaging and fun.
I am understanding, I guide, correct and reward excellent behaviour and results.

My teaching methodology: I introduce a topic and explain it thoroughly, we then do examples together while engaging the student(s) with questions and participation.
Worksheets and homework are given for more practice so to evaluate progress.
I then assess further with tests and quizzes and train how to answer formal assessments and examinations with past papers.
