About Naomi

Hello! My name is Naomi Limann, and I am a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.
English and writing have always been passions of mine, and I have consistently excelled in literature, analysis, and academic writing. Throughout high school, I challenged myself through advanced humanities courses and independently studied for AP exams, earning a 5 on AP Literature and Composition, a 4 on AP Language and Composition, and a 5 on AP U.S. History.
Beyond academics, I have experience as a writer and educator. My opinion pieces have been published by PennLive, Pennsylvania’s leading online news platform, where I have written about topics affecting today’s youth, including artificial intelligence in education and social media’s impact on adolescents. I have also served as an English tutor through Georgetown Reach (Georgetown University’s college consulting program), helping incoming high school students strengthen their writing and academic skills.
I am passionate about helping students become more confident writers, develop stronger reading comprehension skills, and find their own voice through writing.

About the lesson

My approach focuses on building students’ confidence as writers and critical thinkers through personalized instruction, clear explanations, and constructive feedback. Each lesson includes identifying areas for improvement, practicing skills through guided exercises, reviewing student work, and developing strategies for future assignments. I specialize in English, literature, reading comprehension, and essay writing for middle and high school students.
