About Chrissie
I am friendly and encouraging in my approach to teaching. I don’t like to cause students anxiety or discomfort when coming into a lesson, as I don’t find this creates a helpful learning environment. Rather, I like my students to feel confident and comfortable so that they feel equipped to tackle academic challenges and extend their knowledge in a supportive atmosphere.

As a current undergraduate student at Oxford, I have recent experience with the school system and understand what it’s like to go through exams. This makes me more prepared to help lead you through your exams and academic work as I understand both what it’s like to be a student and also what exactly will help improve your results and approach to English. Doing an English degree, I have a natural passion for the subject and have read widely which makes me prepared to take on many forms of literature and writing. I have most experience with GCSE English tuition, but I can also provide help for younger years or people in year 12/13 doing their A levels or looking to apply to Oxbridge.
