About Amrit
I have tutored students on a 1 on 1 basis, and in small groups at school for around a year. My strong understanding of the content and exams of GCSE Maths and Science allows me to help students with all topics, including the most challenging. Students benefit from me being able to explain things the way I learnt them, as they often feel their teachers don't explain things well.
Alongside excellent academic success ( 8 grade 9s at GCSE), I am really easy to get along with, whilst remaining mature and professional!

My teaching method involves understanding a students strengths and weaknesses. I make sure students fully understand things before moving on, and this will be done with diagrams, conversation, walk-throughs etc. This works best for students who are motivated to succeed, and have a growth mindset!
I help students learn the best way to revise, and exam technique. I believe that practice is very important, which is why I make use of past paper questions a lot.
