About Laila
I am an Oxford University graduate, having completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences and I am now pursuing a Masters of Science, also at Oxford, in Immunology. I have had plenty of experience in the educational sector, having tutored students before as well as worked for the online educational company Snaprevise creating revision material. I have also previously been involved in helping with admission at Oxford and successfully coached several students through the application process.

My teaching method primarily involves breaking down a subject area to the very basics to first and foremost solidify the student's understanding of important concepts. Once individual concepts in a particular topic are understood, often with the use of diagrams and analogies, I will begin to help the student make links between various concepts to get an understanding of the bigger picture. Finally, I like to test the student on what they have learnt and work on exam technique which I tailor to their specific exam board to ensure they are able to score top marks.
