About Heather
I'm a final year undergraduate student in English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford and will be continuing my studies there as a masters student next year. In my first year, I was chosen for a scholarship from the university for academic excellence. Though still an undergraduate student, I have written a paper accepted to a research conference at the university this summer.
I have previously undertaken voluntary work as an A Level tutor for CoachBright, a charity which organizes free tutoring for young people in Britain's most deprived areas. In this role, I worked one on one with a student studying English Language and helped her particularly with exam technique. I care deeply about inspiring young people to enjoy English and helping them to build their confidence and independence.
