About Edie

Bonjour à tous! Hello everyone! Je m’appelle Edie! My name is Edie. Chuis étudiante à l’Université du Melbourne. I am a University of Melbourne student. I am continuing my French studies at university level following a high achievement at VCE level. I have been tutoring for a little over five years and I have a passion for teaching (especially for teaching languages) - and this passion is reflected in my tailored and enthusiastic teaching.

About the lesson

I aim to help my students by finding teaching and study methods that work for them! I offer personalized study plans to ensure that learning continues outside of our lessons and that they feel supported and confident. The lessons themselves are based around what each student is learning at school - and are geared to assist them with assignments and general understanding of each topic whilst improving their overall skills.

Edie has been tutoring my daughter for around 6 months, and I have seen some incredible improvements. She is so much more confident and is finally getting the marks that she wants and even more importantly, she is enjoying learning. When she first started seeing Edie, I was worried since Edie is so young, but she is very mature and is so good with kids, my little girl really respects her and looks up to her (she is such a good influence). Edie is crazy smart, but she is able to simplify everything and is always there to support my daughter, I would 100% recommend her.

If you need to cancel a lesson - that is absolutely fine! However, I do need a minimum of 24 hours notice or you will still be charged. In return, I will also give you at least 24 hours notice if I am unable to make a pre-scheduled lesson.
