About Karol
Hi! I am a dedicated, reliable and approachable tutor with a strong academic background in sciences. I hold a BSc in Pharmacology, and I am currently studying for a Master's in Biotechnology and Enterprise. I teach biology, chemistry, physics and maths, helping students understand tricky topics with clear explanations and practical examples. I am passionate about building confidence and making learning enjoyable, tailoring each lesson to suit every student's needs and goals.

My teaching approach is focused on making complex scientific and mathematical concepts clear and engaging. I begin by identifying each student's strengths and areas for improvement, then tailor lessons to suit their learning styles (whether through visual explanations, exam-style practice, step-by-step problem solving, etc.) A typical lesson lasts for 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted depending on the student's needs and focus level. As well as my availability that week :). I am currently studying for an MSc in Biotechnology and Enterprise at the University of Manchester, and hold a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology (Upper Second Class Degree). My academic background gives me a strong foundation across biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics, which I teach at GCSE level to students typically aged 12-16. However, with my specialisation in biological sciences, I am also able to teach Biology at higher levels, including A-level and above.
