About Beth
I am student of English Literature and Film at the University of East Anglia, one of the leading universities in the country for English. I have also completed a semester abroad studying Russian Literature, Film and Philosophy at The University of California, Berkeley - one of the top public universities in the United States. I've been a high achieving English Language and Literature student since primary school level and achieved A*/A at GCSE with full marks in Creative Writing pieces. Although I have tutored much before, beside helping other people my own age during exam time, I am confident in my ability to provide the utmost help to whatever area of the subject you are struggling with or need a helping hand with.

I am a hands on learner and tutor and am a big believer in understanding each students unique learning styles and creating a study plan that best suits them. For creative writing tutoring, I begin with small things such as helping expand imagination and ideas before moving to the more practical and formal skills. For literacy and literature, I begin by establishing a basic understanding of concepts and furthering from there, encouraging students to think outside of the box to make their work stand out as individual. I also believe in honing a unique writing style to each student, encouraging them to find their own voice, and use it confidently in essay writing and exams.
Additionally, I have access to previous exams to study with students and help them understand exactly what's needed of them to achieve the grades that they need.
