About Daniel
I’m a Bachelor of Music student at Humber College specializing in guitar performance, jazz studies, and songwriting. My goal as a teacher is to help students become confident, expressive, and knowledgeable musicians. Whether you’re picking up the guitar for the first time or refining your technique and theory, I’ll guide you through a personalized, professional learning experience built around your goals and interests. I’ve worked with a wide range of students and understand that everyone learns differently. My teaching style is patient, structured, and encouraging, ensuring progress at a comfortable pace while keeping lessons inspiring and enjoyable. If you want to build a solid foundation, expand your musical vocabulary, and develop your own artistic identity, I’ll help you get there with guidance, dedication, and a deep passion for music.

As a guitar tutor, my approach is all about helping each student grow both technically and musically. I combine structured learning that covers scales, harmony, ear training, and fretboard theory with creative exploration through songwriting, improvisation, and style studies. My lessons balance discipline with freedom, focusing on your needs and applications to real music that excites and motivates you.
A typical lesson starts with warm-ups or technique work, followed by theory concepts like chord building, voice leading, or modal playing. We then connect these ideas to songs or original material so you can hear and feel how theory shapes sound and emotion.
What sets me apart is my mix of formal education and hands-on experience. As a Bachelor of Music student at Humber, I’m deeply involved in jazz, rock, and alternative music, and I teach with an emphasis on creativity and personal expression. My background in performance and composition helps me adapt lessons to fit your goals, whether that’s help with guitar theory, getting ready for an audition, writing your own music, or developing your improvisation skills.
My lessons are for players of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced musicians who want to refine their technique, expand their understanding of music theory, or find their unique artistic voice.
