About Patricia
Hi, I’m Patricia, an Occupational Therapist with a strong passion for teaching and supporting students in their academic journey.
Having experienced the challenges of tertiary education firsthand, I understand how important the right guidance, encouragement, and learning environment can be. My goal is to make Math and Science feel more approachable, helping students build confidence and develop a stronger understanding of the subjects.
I have:
* Over 5 years of experience tutoring Mathematics and Science
* Graduated with Honors in Occupational Therapy
* Experience supporting students with different learning styles and individual needs
I’m passionate about helping Kiwi students work towards their academic goals and feel more confident in their learning. I look forward to supporting you throughout your journey!

At Elev8 Academy, our goal is simple: to help students build confidence and improve their understanding of Math and Science.
Our tutors take the time to understand how each student learns and where they may be struggling. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, we tailor our lessons to each student’s needs, focusing on breaking down difficult concepts into simpler, more manageable steps. We want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and gradually building the confidence they need to succeed.
Our support also goes beyond the one-hour tutoring session. Elev8 Academy students have access to our learning platform, which includes additional resources, learning modules, practice materials, and content they can use outside of their scheduled lessons. These resources are designed to reinforce what students learn during tutoring and help them continue studying independently.
We also provide ongoing support outside of lessons, so students are not left feeling stuck when they are studying on their own.
At Elev8 Academy, we aim to provide students with the guidance, resources, and support they need to strengthen their understanding and work towards their academic goals.
