About Aumber
Why me?
Finding a compassionate, understanding, and flexible tutor for young children is hard. Young children thrive in tutoring environments which are low pressure, individually tailored and one in which the student-teacher relationship is level. Fostering this environment is essential for learning. In my experience, students learn and absorb material much better when they are comfortable. This is exactly what I bring to the table and is exactly what is missing in large-scale tutoring companies which lack personality and solid connections. My goal is to help young students, encourage their learning, and make a difference.

I am well versed in tutoring children from Kingergarden to Gr10. Additionally, I also have 2 years of experience tutoring university students through the University of British Columbia where I completed all necessary tutor training programs.
My most recent experience include tutoring grade 4-7 students in all subjects such as English, Math, and Social Studies. Tutoring sessions can take place online or in-person depending on personal preference.
