About Justin

I remember that from a young age I would instinctively tutor my
fellow classmates when they were falling behind and literally jump in to help them when they were confused and
had unanswered questions. Not only did I feel like I was doing something helpful, but I felt that explaining the
content to my fellow students also increased my understanding of the content as well. I would do this in all the AP
classes that I took in high school including AP Calc AB, AP Calc BC, AP Chem, AP Physics 1, AP Bio, AP Macroeconomics,
and AP Spanish 5. At this point in my life, I also scored a 32 on the ACT and went off to college.
In college my experiences with tutoring went even further. I took on my first real tutoring position as a biology
tutor with Varsity Tutors in 2018, and from there branched out into even more subjects.
I now hold a 4-year engineering degree from the University of Washington and still tutor outside of
regular business hours. I usually teach virtually (for the past year I have been teaching on a 100% virtual basis)
but I do make exceptions based on need. I currently teach introductory and college level courses in chemistry, calculus, physics, and biology.
This includes AP and IB as well. I will also teach upper-level engineering courses on a case by case by basis if you request this. If you have any questions for me, feel free to message me or ask about my background during a session.
