About Maddy
Hello students!
I am a recent University graduate in Primary Education with a major in Human Society and it's Environments (HSIE). The humanities are a passion of mine and I believe the learning associated with this subject is exciting and crucial for the development of a strong and well informed younger generation. I am also qualified to teach all other KLA's in the primary curriculum and believe that learning should be engaging and inclusive for all students. I hold a hands-on, constructivist approach to learning and this is seen in my lessons wherever possible. I am soft-spoken and outgoing and endeavour to create an environment for my students that is safe and engaging.

Lessons are catered to each individual, and the activities appropriate to your level. A focus on the individual and furthering their understanding of a topic at whatever level that may be. This will ensure a sense of safety and success in learning and highlights the achievement of each individual. Lessons would involve both on one on interaction through explicit teaching time, as well as time for students to work on assigned tasks and activities to strengthen their autonomy in learning of a topic, and practice to solidify understanding. Hands on learning is used wherever possible to engage students in their learning and create solid foundations for understanding. Lessons can be between 30mins and 1 hour, depending on the content to be covered. I am a qualified teacher for students in Kindergarten - Year 6, however am offering tutoring services to students up to year 10.
