About Tamara
I have recently graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and achieved "with distinction" for my academic excellence. Since graduation, I took a brief break to backpack around Europe. Upon my return, I started employment as a program assistant at a mental health and substance use clinic.

My teaching method is fluid and organized, but I like to keep the lesson up beat and fun by using lots of examples to help students thoroughly understand the topic at hand, rather than just memorize them.
My lessons are structured in that they start off with a brief introduction, background, and definitions of certain topics. Then I like to move into the information portion of the lesson where we explore facts, research and developments of certain topics. I then like to apply this information by introducing relatable, real-world examples so that thorough understanding can be developed. The end of the lesson will allow for questions and study tips for the material covered.
