I like to analyse a question with a student, demonstrate the relevant steps to ensure full understanding of the question. Then, give a similar question so I can see if the student has understood the method. More questions should follow, then harder exam style questions to use the knowledge learnt in the lesson and apply it to what could appear in the exam papers at the end of the year.
