About Kayden
As a recent computer science graduate, I spent years trying to find the best way to teach myself as my teachers weren't always the clearest at explaining things. I am someone who understands the struggle and stress about learning new things and I value every learning style there is. It's what helped me do well as a teaching assistant in university.
During both high school and university, I dealt with complex problems in math, computer science, data science, and physics. Now that I understand the fundamentals and how these concepts blend together, I am confident in my ability to teach students of all ages.

I do not believe in boring lectures or memorization. Because my background is in Computer Science, I view math, physics, and coding as puzzles. My goal is to teach you the logical blueprints so you can solve any problem independently. I adapt my pace entirely to the student's learning style.
Session Breakdown
Every session is structured to maximize progress and reduce school stress:
1. We review current homework, upcoming assignments, or specific topics the student is struggling with in class.
2. I explain the core concept using visual anchors, real-world examples, or live code sharing.
3. We tackle problems together. I use a "gradual release" method. I do one, we do one together, and then you try one.
4. We summarize what we learned and note down key takeaways for upcoming tests.
