About Charlotte

My name is Charlotte and I have always enjoyed learning languages and literature. I am in my third year studying German and Spanish at the University of Cambridge, and I learnt Latin up to A-Level. I love to help improve GCSE and A-Level English Literature students who are seeking support. Since 2019 I have mentored GCSE and AS students in German and Latin, and I have tutored students online in German A-Level since 2021. I sat the 2018 English Literature GCSE exam with AQA and achieved full marks on both papers. In 2020, I received A*A*A* + A* in EPQ for my A-Levels which included English Literature, and I study German and Spanish literature as part of my undergraduate degree at the University of Cambridge. I am very familiar with how exam boards function and how to do well in exams, plus I genuinely enjoy my subjects and love to teach others about them. My recent successes as a tutor include 5 A-Level students whose standard of work increased by 1-2 grades: one student's test grades increased from a C to an A rapidly after starting lessons with me. I have also recently mentored a student in Modern Languages who has an offer to study at the University of Cambridge. Please message me with any questions or requests you may have. About the lesson

Hi, I'm Charlotte and I'm in my second year at the University of Cambridge studying German and Spanish! I love languages and literature, and am keen to help people with online English Literature tuition. I am an experienced online tutor and can prepare bespoke lessons based on your learning styles and exam board. We can revise texts that you have studied in class and will be examined on (both GCSE and A-Level). I offer GCSE pupils sessions in unseen poetry and A-Level students the chance to explore wider reading related to the topic of study. Lessons are for 60 minutes.
