About George
Hi I’m George and I’m a recent graduate of engineering. I love the profession and in a few months I’m going to start working as a consultant in the life sciences sector.
I feel really privileged to have had the opportunity to be educated at the University of Cambridge. But getting there was no walk in the park. I went to one of the bottom 10% comprehensive schools in the UK - where I was the first student in 17 years to go to Oxbridge. I feel that it was my consistent commitment to diligent studying which facilitated the grades to get me into the institution.
I have spent time tutoring underprivileged students to get into top UK universities through the Project Access charity.

I prefer to work through a topic with a student, allowing them to show what they know and where there is room for development. I think reviewing practice papers is a great way to make the most of a session.
Particularly with topics in mathematics/ mechanics, it’s really important to understand the underlying principles in order to apply the ideas correctly. So I’m happy to explain theory too.
Happy to discuss length/ time of sessions (quite flexible!).
