About Juliette
I am a recent graduate of the University of Bristol. I studied Sociology with Study Abroad (BSc), achieving a high 2:1 grade. As I am fresh out of University, I would like the opportunity to help many students seeking revision techniques and/or help with writing essays. I am a strong essay writer, which comes from studying English Literature, Sociology and Psychology at A-Level. I have previously been a helper at a primary school, which involved children reading to me, and me helping them with their vocabulary, and help them to advance their skills. I was also both Sociology and Psychology Prefect at school, where I was given the responsibility to offer help to my peers with essay writing, and would often be asked to explain concepts in a way which was easy and accessible for them to understand.

My teaching method is to understand what you are struggling with, so I can help approach those topics or areas by seeing them as a challenge to overcome, rather than an impossible task. For me, when I studied, I kept reminding myself that I wanted to prove that I could do it, which I would be strongly encouraging. I would not expect homework from a student studying for their A-Levels, but if writing is something the individual is struggling with, I might encourage a few at home writing tasks, but this would be solely up to the individual and if they think they will be able to do them. I think occasional tests are useful too, as seeing an improvement in test scores will make the student feel happy, and is also useful for me to see which areas might need more focus on.
