About Alfie
Hello! My name is Alfie, and I am a University of Bristol Biology graduate with A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths. I have always enjoyed sharing teaching and helping others succeed, both academically and through years of coaching and teaching sailing, windsurfing, and other water sports as well! I want to become a Biology teacher, and I am passionate about helping students develop confidence, understanding, and a love of science. I aim to make lessons engaging, tailored, and enjoyable, so every student feels supported and ready to achieve their goals at GCSE or A-level.

I provide engaging, tailored lessons designed to suit each individual student. With years of experience in teaching and coaching water sports, as well as academic tutoring experience during my education, I understand the importance of making lessons both specific and enjoyable. Lessons are typically 1 hour, though shorter or longer sessions can be arranged to suit your needs. My academic background is in Biology, which I studied at undergraduate level at the University of Bristol, and I also enjoy Chemistry and Maths, which I studied at A-level alongside Biology. I aim to make my lessons both enjoyable and informative, targeting GCSE and A-level students, and helping them build understanding, confidence, and exam readiness.
