About Maria
I have recently graduated from the University of St Andrews with a degree in Biochemistry and am currently undertaking a postgraduate research course at Imperial College in Biomedical Research. I have been a biology tutor for over 8 years, as well as a biology and sciences teacher for 5-16 year olds. I am very passionate about this topic, and would love to offer my assistance!

A lot of biology requires extensive memorisation, especially at the beginning. My lessons shall focus on the concepts behind the seemingly unfamiliar scientific words, making it easier for the student to remember the material covered, link different ideas together, and progress to a deeper understanding of the overall topic.
