About Martha
I am currently an English Literature and Theatre Studies student at University of Leeds where I consistently learn new skills and find new aspects to enjoy. I have often been high up in my classes in terms of marks and grades and have a strong passion for English. I am currently in the process of writing a fiction trilogy as I am very fond of creative writing as well as studying literature. Due to my position at University, I believe I can relate to pupils which will hopefully relieve any anxieties or pressure surrounding the learning of this subject.

I would like to structure my lesson around what the pupil struggles with currently and adapt to their preferred way of learning, whether this be testing, active writing or a lecture. Relatively casual I aim for a seminar type experience, I will encourage them to find the interesting aspects of the subject which will help their motivation. I have peer mentored younger students and would now like to move to GCSE students to try and show them the enjoyment in learning. Lessons would be an hour with a small break to keep engagement, though this can be flexible.
